Damion sat on his thrown to large dogs chained to it. he watched as the man beged for his sons life. he had not paid tribute to him. so he had the mans son taken form him. he did not like people saying no to him after all fear was the key. he took a grape from the plate beside him and eat it.
the man fineshed beging for the life of his son.
"yes" he stood up and walked twords the man. he could see the joy in his face he snaped a finger and three men were caring something it was the farmers son. he was dead. he had been mutalated and was only just reconisable.
the men fell to his son with tears in his face. "Now this was yourdoing farmer next time it will be your little girl. now go." with that the man was taken by to of the gaurds and thrown out of the fortress along with his son.

Callisto stood outside the fortress as the door opened. Two men were thrown out, one clearly dead while the other was weeping over his body. Callisto smirked. "Be thankful he spared your life farmer..." Callisto spat at the man before she entered the fortress. It was dark and dreary, just how she liked it. Making her way through the fortress to the throne room where the Lich King resided. She knocked a few times before she pushed open the door.
"My King." Callisto said as she knelt as his feet. She was just enough distance away that the dogs couldn't reach her, even though they knew her scent well. "Our numbers are growing my lord, and growing quickly. We have moved into the east to the dwarves. Is there anything else that you'd like for me to tell the men?" Callisto asked, still kneeling on the floor.

Evaen nipped neatly into the room, noting the ruined mess of the young boy's face- well, it was quite a waste, she could have done a much more presentable job, she was rather good at capturing the right expression before she finished- a wry smile turning her lips, and flicked the doors closed with a sharp sound.
Her smirk became more pronounced with light humor when she saw Callisto's curled form submissive on the floor- Evean had never seen fit to bow in such a manner, but whatever makes you happy, she supposed...
"My Lord," she gave a swift, fluttering bow to the King, her hand flowing neatly beside her as she did so, "I have finished the assignment you dealt to me."
[OOC: I'm being deliberately vague on the assignment- what sort of work did you have in mind for her, Arthang? ^^]
Her spine whipped strait again, and, with more shady gray amusement, "I am sorry." She wasn't, but still- "I did not mean to interrupt."
Her eyes flickered to the dogs- for some reason, they always tickled her personality with their rigidness, and the king: eating while he handed off limp corpses...
Ah. War is so amusing. When you're detached. But she was an elf. She would live forever- none of this was really her affair.

Dark Waters stood outside the fortress eating the corpse. She had managed to get the body but the farmer managed to get the head. She spat out the bones. Blood dripped down her mouth and she licked it up. She peeked inside then stared at the moon. It was barely making any light tonight. Moon goddess! She dare shine light when everything could be total darkness. Here many would fear and she loved to eat fear. It made her strong.

Callisto nodded and rose to her feet, her eyes looking to the other woman for a moment before settling back on the King. "Is there any specific dragons you'd like to send? Perhaps Ithgir or Crii? Or even Dark Waters?" Callisto listed a few of the 'better' dragons, the more obediant and strong ones. For in order to have a strong hold on the enemies, they needed a strong army. And the dragons that Callisto talked about, were some of the best.

I want some of the raiders to hit just after the dragons take what food is lift. maybe even capture a few slaves. however make it clear they have to let some escape."

Well, a brilliant strategy, she'd admit. But rather dull if you wanted hand-to-hand bloodshed. But... her time would come. Perhaps she'd be allowed to raid if she was not needed here.
"My lord," she began, the thought of violence springing the notion forward, "There are several soldiers who might be of use should we be able to sway them- or potentially dangerous should we not. Anyone in particular you would like bought out or eliminated? I know of several generals who show a strong ambition streak- easily moved by the funds we have, if we are willing to spend them. I've also sequired a court-ringer, endlessly wealthy and well known and feared by the other gentlemen of the high-end social circles who is sympathetic to our cause. He could be of use."
She shifted to one side, her clothing sighing lightly as she swung her hip and folded her arms, inspecting her pale, icy nail without thought. She was ready for some sort of action, but speaking did not particuarly interest her. She wanted action- words did little.

Instantly, she was shifted from a delicate wilt of interest to her full-fledged glimmering intrigue- well, this would be entertaining, to say the least.
"What else ought I to know about their leader, my lord?" She spoke through a rueful, sharp smile, her eyes matching her voice in tone, "A man or women?"
Well, a man could be easily seduced into trust, but a women she'd have to befriend; it was not something she could do easily, but it would be done, if need be.

Dark Waters caught the words send dragons to destroy and smiled a dragon smile. Perfect she thought. It was time to burn down a few pesky little farms and spread fear. She would fly and burn down everything in site. Maybe even eat a couple ones she didn't like. Ha, they will starve to death. Dark Waters imagined sinking her teeth into all the corpes and licked her lips. She continued to try to listen to what was happining inside.

Not good-looking? Well, that was a little disheartening, but it would make her task easier, anyway.
"Excellent, my lord. When should I set out?"
It was odd- that a soldier should take orders from a politician and allow what he's gained to spin out of control... but that was the nature of mankind: complex. Perhaps she'd be able unflesh this later.
However, she also wondered- was she actually going to kill off his troops? That would be an odd sort of sacrifice, but worth it with the savageness of the blow to the country's moral turned the way he was planning.

"Very well, my lord. I'll leave tomorrow, if it suits you."
Finally- she would be free of this place... it was not that she disliked the dampness of the halls or the flickering, wayward lights or the constant stream of shadow- it was that she did not like to be in any one place for long. Except by the sea- but you could not make a living by the sea...
Her smile came back to her, and her eyes flashed with suppressed adrenaline, because this was going to be very entertaining... She could not wait for the look of shock when she betrayed them. So emotional, these people. She could count the number of people she trusted on one hand, and most of them were dead.
